Senior Admin and Finance Officer – Byker Primary School
Working Pattern: Full time - term time plus specified days.
Closing Date: 16/01/2026, 9am.
Salary: £29,064 - £31,022 per annum pro rata, Actual Salary £24,956 – £26,637
Hours per week: 37
Byker Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive school set in the heart of a thriving community. We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to become a key member of our office team.
This is a dynamic, varied role at the centre of a busy primary school, supporting day-to-day finance and administration functions. Reporting to the School Business Manager, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our school runs smoothly and efficiently—no two days will be the same!
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed IT and financial expertise
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Maths and English) or equivalent by experience
- Ideally educated to A Level standard or holding an AAT (or equivalent) qualification
